Daily Song Analysis

To get to Song Analysis:

Click Daily Reports from the main menu bar
Click Song Analysis

To Locate a Song:

Enter Title (type song title in bar) or Artist (type artist/band name in bar) and hit GO button.
You may select Show All Songs, Currents/Recurrents, or Gold to filter the resulting song list.

Click GO next to Browse By Artists

Available Filter Options:
Artist:
- Starts With: Allows for typing in only partial Group/Artist names including First Names
- Contains: Artists must match beginning of text typed in

Search for: Enter all or part of the Artist's name

Show:
- Show All (brings up all songs within Mediabase active play detections)
- Currents (will bring up only current songs)
- Current & Recurrents (up to 1 year old)
- Gold (will bring up songs that have been out approx. 1 year or longer)

You can also locate an artist by clicking on an individual letter of artist last name or band name on the alphabet displayed under the Song Analysis header (this brings up all Artists starting with selected letter) or by selecting a letter from the Artist list box.

After selecting an artist, song titles will be brought up in far right box
Click on desired song title to view the Song Analysis report
You may select “Artist History” on the far left to view that artist’s song history information on all formats. The songs are sorted by Total Spins.

- Clicking on each individual song title will result in a “Song History” report, listing station, market, market rank, current format, spins to date, dayparts, 1st played dates and total audience details.)

Report Options:

Select from the following report options listed in the drop-down menu on the right side of page:

- 7 Day (see 7 Day/Song Analysis)
- 1 Day (see below)
- 7 Day Executive Summary (see 7 Day/Song Analysis)
- Building (see below)
- Quickview
- Not Playing
- Year-To-Date (see Year-To-Date)
- Song History
- Market History
- Artist History
- 12 Week History

Daily ("1 Day") Song Chart by Artist/Song:
Sorts by most spins for past day (-1), broken down by individual station, regardless of format.

Click any column header to re-sort in ascending or descending order.

New (far left side) - Sort by stations with new spin detections from most recent monitored day (-1) that did not appear in previous day (-2)

Station - Click on Call Letters to view Station Playlist

Market - Click on Market to view 7-Day Market Chart

Format - Click on Format to view 7-Day Song Chart for the selected format.

Plays (center) for station, click actual number of spin detections under -1 or -2 to show detailed 7 Day Spin Grid (spins broken down by day and hour) for the past four weeks for that particular station

Spin Grid – Last 24 Hours: Hour-by-hour spin grid for most recent monitored date

Show Summary - click on the Show Summary (upper right hand corner) to automatically jump to bottom of page or scroll down to bottom of page. The Format Summary is broken down by format for most recent monitored previous 2 days.

To show spins for one specific format only, click on requested format under Format Summary
