Market Charts

Definition: Market Charts are broken down by all Mediabase monitored stations, regardless of format, within an individual market for a 7 day rolling period.

• Click 7-Day Reports on the main menu bar
• Select the 7 Day period you wish to review (default is through yesterday).
• Click Market Charts (under Charts)
• Scroll down the market list, select a market and click.

• Initially, automatic default sort is by most spins for this week (TW), past 7 days
• Click any blue column header to sort the information within the chart in ascending or descending order.

How to Read Market Chart (left to right):

Rank - lw (last week market rank) followed by TW (this week market rank). Order that song appears on chart ranked by TW spins

Song - ranked by spins. Click artist name, song title, or year to go directly to 7 Day Song Analysis

Spins - total monitored spins for song within selected format

Move – plus or minus in total spins from the previous 7 days

Call Letters - All monitored stations in market are displayed alphabetically. Click on the number of spins under the station call letter column to view Detailed 7 Day Spin Grid (spins broken down by day and hour) for past four weeks at that station

Stations On - total number of stations in the market playing the song

7 Day Market Chart – Additional Features: (located upper right hand corner of page)

Show Gold – Gold Market Chart

Show Minimum of 1 Station – Initial Market Chart default to bring up on songs that are being played on 2 or more stations (Show Minimum of 2 Stations). This option allows you to bring up all songs (Currents/Recurrents or Gold) being played in market regardless of number of stations in market playing the track.
