To Get to Building Charts:
Click 7-Day Reports from the main Menu bar.
Select the chart you wish to review from the dropdown bar (Mediabase - All, Mediabase - R&R, Mediabase - Gavin, Mediabase - Network).
Select Rolling Charts.
Select a format.
How to Read the Building Chart:
The chart is ranked by TW rank. Click any heading to sort by that heading.
lw - Rank last week
TW - Rank this week
Artist - Click the Artist to view 7-Day Song Analysis for this song
Title - Click the Title to view 7-Day Song Analysis for this song
Graphic - Click the Graphic to view 12-Week Airplay Trends graph
Spins
TW – Spins this week
lw - Spins last week
+/- – This week's spins vs. Last week's spins
Day-By-Day Spins
Shows spins from each day of the week included in Building Chart
Additional Options - Drop Down Bars:
You may filter the report by selecting Currents and Recurrents, Currents Only, Recurrents Only, or Gold.
The length of the chart can be set to Show All, Show Top 20, Show Top 40, Show Top 50, Show Top 100, Show Top 150, or Show Top 200.
Select Chart Layout on the top right hand side allows you to select:
- Main 7-Day Chart (defaults back to Published Chart version)
- Building Chart (default)
- 12 Week Trends - by Spins (ranks songs by spins per week)
- 12 Week Trends - by Rank (lists songs by rank per week)
- 12 Week Trends - by Audience (ranks songs by audience per week)
- Labels/Rotation Averages shows corresponding record labels and spin breakdown based on average spins per station for the past 2 periods.
- On/New/Up/Down features stations playing in a format: New stations playing, Up (stations increasing rotation), Steady (stations not increasing or decreasing spins), Down (stations decreasing rotation), and corresponding percentages. Increases or Decreases of 10% or more, are flagged by a green flag (increase) or red flag (decrease).
- 12 Week Trends - by Spins (highlights decreased spins per week)
To Highlight Songs by Label(s):
Click Show Label Highlights in the top right corner.
A pull down bar that says Select Record Label appears in the middle of the top of the screen.
Select as many labels as you wish to highlight.
The corresponding labels' songs will be in bold.
These reports may be downloaded to spreadsheets:
Click Download to Spreadsheet (top right corner).
Show "After Midnite" Chart:
Click Show "After Midnite" Chart (top right corner).
Show's chart, ranked by spins, of songs played by "After Midnight" for the timeframe selected
Panel Used In This Report:
Click "Panel Used In This Report" (top right corner) to show list of all stations carrying "After Midnite," the days and the times the show aired on the particular station.
